Checkmate Artisanal Winery is a winery in Oliver specializing in Chardonnay and Merlot crafted from Okanagan Valley vineyards. Our tasting room operates at 4799 Wild Rose Street, set on terrain with vines dating back 50 years. Designed by architect Tom Kundig, our building features dedicated tasting spaces overlooking the surrounding landscape. We pour guided wine flights featuring single-vineyard expressions, blends, and library selections like The Queen Taken. Bottled selections are available by the flight or in boxed collections. We are open Wednesday through Sunday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM and closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
