I’ve been the the Grand many times! They have some great shows, the last one I attended was “Mark Twain” with Richard Thomas-John Boy. It was terrific! I was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to hear this one man show, but I had no difficulty whatsoever! The parking is good, the theatre is classically beautiful. They will be doing some upgrades including additional restrooms. Definitely recommend!

Went for the 30th anniversary world tour of the Ten Tenors. Fantastic venue, very artistic and historical, yet classic and upscale. It was very underwhelming outside, but once we were inside, wow, just wow. All the staff were lined up at the door to greet, and they were all in beutiful cream and black semi-formal uniforms. The lobby area was newly redone, spacious, well-lit, modern yet grandiose. How to dress to go? We went semi-formal since the performers were wearing suits and I'm glad we did, the venue deserves that kind of respect. A great many of the attendees were there in jeans and hoodies, but why not dress well when you have the opportunity at an event and venue such as this?

What used to be a movie theater, is now a Historic building in downtown Wausau that hosts weekly entertainment. The architecture and details make this a beautiful place to catch some amazing shows, with space to hold your special celebrations and venues as well.

I've seen multiple shows here -ballets, concerts and Broadway shows- always have a wonderful time. The staff and volunteers are very friendly and helpful. The building itself is well laid out and beautiful! I don't think there's a bad seat in the whole place. I'm so very glad we have such a wonderful venue that brings in a wide variety of amazing shows right here in Wausau! Leave early for parking, though. Sometimes you have to park quite a ways away, especially if the shows are sold out.

Iconic local theater with a rich history. I've been attending performances here all my life. The acoustics are great, last night's show was an amazing Johnny Cash tribute. Can't wait for Manheim Steamroller next month!
