If you’re visiting Wausau, I highly recommend the Hilton Garden Inn! I spent three nights here while traveling for business and had a great experience from start to finish. The property is very well maintained, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and provided a high level of service during every interaction. The restaurant was another highlight as both breakfast and dinner were amazing! The quality of the food, combined with the hospitality throughout the hotel, made my business trip that much more enjoyable. I’ll definitely keep this location at the top of my list whenever I’m back in Wausau. Thank you for the great stay!

The Hilton garden inn Wausau is an absolutely amazing property. The rooms are beautiful with extra high ceilings and tall windows. Pool area is relaxing and the staff very friendly and helpful. An added plus is the Van Acre restaurant. This place has an open fire Brazilian type grill. Wait staff is very nice and the kitchen staff produce some of the best food I've ever had. We ate 2 dinners there and breakfast. All amazing!!

We stopped here on our way out to Door County and we loved our stay. The restaurant has great breakfast. Every staff member we interacted with was pleasant. They had a great pool for little ones. Our kids loved it. Room was clean and well taken care of. We would stay here again while traveling.

We stayed here for two nights and WOW. We were blown away! The rooms are beautiful! Brenda did an amazing job cleaning our room before our stay and left us a little note which was so thoughtful! The beds were so comfortable we had a hard time waking up because we were enjoying our sleep so much! We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. There are some things I would’ve wanted (just personal preference) like I would prefer streaming services over cable tv, and a continental breakfast is obviously always nice (and that’s not included here). But these were things we knew when we booked. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable and comfortable! We will definitely be back the next time we drive through the area.

Very disappointed.. THE BEDS! We have been in Wisconsin for a week and this was our fourth stay at a random hotel on our spur of the moment road trip... We were expecting the beds to be super comfortable since it was 200 plus a night.. compared to the other 79 and 99 rooms... EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE BEDS. ALTHOUGH THE Service was awesome.. & had a unique drink down at the bar which was great... We really were looking forward to a excellent night sleep. The room was beautiful the view was nice. WON'T EVER BE STAYING THERE AGAIN BECAUSE OF THE BEDS. Save your money and go to one of the cheaper hotels.
