Hosting diverse musical productions, lectures, and family shows
We saw Dog Man the Musical earlier this month, and loved our afternoon at the Straz! The staff was so kind and helpful. This was my son's first theater experience and he was so positively impressed, I'm sure we'll be back for more performances.
BEAUTIFUL AND well laid out theater!! Love going here!!
This is a black box theater that is quite small three tiers or maybe four tiers worth of seating on little balcony benches I was in the first road center and was literally two feet away from the actors. All the shows at or around the Straz performing arts center are always great So for just a little bit more than the price of a movie you could see a play like guys and dolls and have a great time enjoying the performing arts live
This is a nice size hall that's not too big or too small. It's a good venue to watch the symphony orchestra. The acoustics is very good in the space and the sound is crisp and clear. I would recommend to attend events there if given the opportunity.
