Our hall features a 60-foot high proscenium, a 55-foot playing depth, and a total stage width of 120 feet, complemented by an 11-story backstage. We are located within the Straz Center for the Performing Arts, which includes five other stages and a Riverwalk.

I've had the opportunity to visit many theaters, and this one in particular is one of the most beautiful I've ever been to. Besides its architecture and aesthetics, the people and staff who work there are excellent and helpful; they always greet you with a smile. And the shows and plays presented there are unbeatable.

Saw Hell's Kitchen Broadway Musical was AMAZING! I truly enjoyed the show and loved the music. Would go see it again. The entire building was very clean, including the restroom. The ushers were pleasant and friendly. The merchandise for sale from the show was a little pricey. So take your credit card if you want to buy something.

There is just something about live theater that never gets old. This is still my favorite place to go, the Broadway series is always full of fantastic shows, every seat get a great view of the stage ( i prefer the balcony). The staff is wonderful, always willing to help you. Well worth the visit to see a show.

Our kids had so much fun at the Gabby’s Dollhouse Live performance at the Straz Center! They had snacks and beverages for sale. The location is near the river walk, Glazer Children’s Museum, etc so we went to a playground after the show.
