Fresh seafood and oyster bar in Milwaukee Public Market
The lobster rolls are the best I’ve ever had!!! There’s no other fillings besides lobster, and the brioche loaf is delicious too. I can tell the lobster is super fresh, and in BIG portions. From the cross section of the lobster roll you can see there’s a lot of lobster they filled into the bread. I am so stuffed. They also have dine in dinner specials from Monday through Friday, where the item is basically half off. I will definitely come back again!
I had dinner there on Wednesday night about 7 pm and was able to find a solo seat right away. I had a plate of amazingly delicious oysters, fish tacos (good) with perfect fries and an Arnold Palmer. My total with tip was $41.00. The service is friendly and they are happy to recommend which oysters you might like. As a solo diner I felt welcome and comfortable. I’d definitely return when I’m next in Milwaukee. Plus, the Third Ward neighborhood and the Milwaukee Public Market is absolutely a “must see and experience” if you are in downtown Milwaukee. I loved it. The Milwaukee Public Market was voted the best in the country and it is an accurate and well deserved accolade.
My partner loved this place so much, we went two days in a row 😅 It is always impressive to find a high quality seafood place at a decent price point in the Midwest. Mussels had a bangin wine sauce, but needs some salt and were kinda small, maybe it was the batch. We loved all the different oysters we got. Best of all was the lobster roll! Great service too.
