Milwaukee Riverwalk was tranquil when I visited, as there was hardly anyone there on both sides of the river. Some boat cruises gently guide visitors underneath the numerous bridges. Great area to go for a stroll after meals filled with Wisconsin cheese!
The river walk is great! Some of the interactions with roads are a little busy but drivers seem to be aware of pedestrians and will let you cross. The views are great and there's a lot of art along the walk. I would recommend checking out the river walk if you're visiting Milwaukee.
This is a very nice adventure that goes along the river. There are several stairs up and down you must navigate to stay on the Riverwalk. There is one section that has an elevator at both sides I couldn't get it to work though for some reason. It's definitely worth doing this on a sunny day
Milwaukee is a clean, quiet, and gentle city, and the Riverwalk truly reflects that character. I expected to see a beautiful riverside view, but what surprised me most was just how peaceful it was. At first, I enjoyed watching a sightseeing boat pass by, but then I witnessed something even more fascinating—a bridge lowering to reconnect the road. It was such an unexpected and unique sight, something you don’t get to see just anywhere. The Riverwalk offers both calmness and moments of wonder, making it a memorable part of the city.
