Victorian-era theater hosting tours, exhibits, and events
Went to see their production of "Fiddler on the Roof" and was extremely impressed with the quality of the production! The beauty of the theater is the cherry on top, a true classic old theater with all the trappings of beauty and decoration
This was one of the best small venue theaters I've been to. Very cozy and great sightlines. The Spirit Room in the lower level was a great plus for intermission and hangout before and after the show
This theater is absolutely gorgeous! If you have never been here, it’s worth the trip just to see the beauty and detail of it. We so enjoyed the small, quaintness of it. We loved the downstairs bar area too.
The Mabel Tainter is a gorgeous theatre. They offer a variety of different performances including plays, concerts, and an artisan market. There is a wonderful Spirit Room that you can enjoy free music, beverages and trivia. You can get a tour to learn about the history of the Tainter family and see the beautiful Theatre. The staff and volunteers are helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.
Oh my gosh! We have known of this place for years. But it took the Buddy Holly Dance Party Reunion to get us through the doors! What a beautiful theater. Wonderful, intimate setting and the acoustics were great. We brought our teenage boys and they enjoyed the show and the amazing details of the design and interior finishings. We look forward to visiting again, very soon.
