Casual rooms with free breakfast and a gym
I've been staying at various cobblestone inns and suites throughout my life, and every single one has been a high-quality experience. Cobblestone inn and suites may my favorite hotel chain; no matter where I go the service is excellent and the rooms are immaculate.
The room was clean, inviting, bed was made so nicely, I could go on and on. I felt so comfortable here! It was the perfect size room and quiet. 9 times out of 10 housekeeping will come knocking on our door before 9am before check out time - seems rude. BUT NOT HERE! They extended my checkout with no problem and housekeeping was quiet and did not try getting into my room before check out time. Overall an amazing stay - THANK YOU.
I kind of hate to leave this review because I'll no doubt now have trouble booking here due to limited availability. But I know I rely on honest reviews so I'll leave this for you. We stayed in June 2026 in room 315, a one-bedroom suite for three nights. I'm EXTREMELY particular about cleanliness in a hotel. I travel with my own disinfectant and always check mattresses and other locations in the room for you-know-whats. This hotel was so incredibly clean that I didn't even once use my disinfectant--a rarity! And of course, there was nothing found that caused any concern. The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was missing a couple of basics (like paper towels, silverware, etc) but the staff was able to provide to me what I needed right away. The room had a separate bedroom from the living room; the bathroom was across from the mini kitchen (nice size refrigerator, microwave, stovetop). If the room didn't have the safe located where it was, it would've been easier to put our suitcase down. As it was, we had to straddle the suitcase over the safe and luggage rack. Our other suitcase was placed on the table designed for eating. The bathroom vanity is large enough for two travel toiletry cases. We always travel with extra hooks, which we put over the top of the bathroom door to hold our towels for a second use. There is one double hook on the back of the bathroom door. The breakfast had a few hot items such as scrambled eggs and sausage. I usually opt for the hard boiled eggs. Cereal, waffles, fruit, juice, milk, and coffee were also available. There is plenty of free parking. There is not a swimming pool. All in all, this is where I want to stay when I'm in the Menomonie area. I'm sure you'll enjoy it, too.
Great location and very sweet staff. It was clean and I LOVED that they had corned beef hash for breakfast in the morning. Microwaves in the spacious rooms. I only knocked off a star because the bed wasn’t the most comfortable, and there was no way to watch Netflix on the TV.
Wonderful stay! We were visiting for a college tour and had a great view. Quiet hotel, perfect location. Breakfast was good and the view with big windows in the morning was lovely! We had trouble getting WiFi to work in our room but we only stayed one night.
