Craft beers and cask ale in a historic train depot
brewery nønic is a craft brewery in Menomonie operating inside a retooled historic train station. Our taproom pours a rotating lineup of house beers, ranging from cask ales and British bitters to milk stouts, doppelbocks, and IPAs. We feature seating inside the depot and outdoors on our covered, dog-friendly patio. Visiting food trucks frequently park on-site, and our yard offers open views of local wildlife. We are closed on Mondays, opening Tuesday through Thursday at 3:00 PM and Friday through Sunday at 11:00 AM.

Good selection of beers. Beer tender was attentive and helpful. The place is beautiful and the views were too! Saw half a dozen deer mousy on through the back yard as we sat and played cribbage. Atmosphere we very dog friendly as there was even a water dish that one of the 'regulars' knew where to find it. She also knew there was treats to be handed out when people ordered their drinks... she looked like she had had a few.
Very cool atmosphere. My Dream Girl and I enjoyed beer called HAPPY LITTLE TREES. Best darn brewery beer I have had to date. Definatley will return! Plus they allow Doggies!
Nonic is an awesome little brewery in Menomonie. It is a retooled train station with a ton of the old character an look. Their is plenty of seating both inside and out and food trucks are common here. The service was very friendly and happy to talk about the brewery. They had 9 beers on for my stop including: a scottish ale, doppelbock, milk stout, Belgian wit, British bitter(cask ale), Irish dry stout, IPA, Hazy IPA, and a German pils. I really appreciated this selection, cask ales are a rare find, the beers were good (some really good). I am really waffling between 4 or 5 stars. I will be back again.
A friend and I stopped here to grab a beer between some outdoor activities. This is a cool old railroad building— I love the repurposing of these kinds of buildings. We checked out their beer menu and I chose the strawberry rhubarb sour; my friend had the stout. I really enjoyed my sour. It was light, refreshing, with a perfect sour balance. We sat outside to enjoy our drinks; they have a nice selection of both indoor and outdoor seating. They had a food truck (Stacked) but we did not have any eats today. This was a fun find and I can’t wait to bring my husband for a date!
