While the brewery side never seemed to really falter the pub side of the Blue Heron BrewPub seems to have finally sorted itself out from its post-pandemic doldrums now that it has transitioned almost fully into pizza making and it has done so by crafting some truly excellent pies. They’ve really pegged the ferment on the dough, allowing it to have a nice flavor and texture. The 12” offerings are more than enough to satisfy a hungry individual with perhaps some slices to take home.

The brick oven pizzas are amazing, they have fresh made crust and ingredients. You can’t get any fresher than these pizzas and breadsticks. The beer and mixers are also very good with many varieties to choose from. Great service and great atmosphere.

I came in today (Friday, 06-19-26) after a long time. They changed their menu to only hand tossed brick oven pizza, not frozen! They make the dough themselves and add some beer to it. It's really good and it is the best pizza in all of Marshfield. It broke my heart to see other locals go "Is that really all you have?" I get that Friday is Fish Fry, just go to a Seafood restaurant at that point. Not everywhere has to have fish. I seen a lot of people walk out just because of pizza. One customer ordered a drink, the bartender was in the process of making it, and the customer left with his girlfriend without saying anything to the bartender. I was the one who had to let her know. Give this place a chance. They got food back after having an entire kitchen staff walking out on them.

Delicious food, awesome atmosphere, and great service, always. I've been here numerous times, and the food is always amazing. Great beer selection and full bar with delicious drinks too.
