On All Souls Day, priests offer three Mass intentions for the deceased, a privilege granted by Pope Benedict XV during the First World War. One intention is for all the Faithful Departed, another is for a deceased person chosen by the celebrant, and the third is for the Holy Father's intentions. Pope Benedict XV originally requested this to pray for those who died in the Great War, and many believe this intention now covers all who have died in times of war. The Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe will follow its regular weekday public Mass schedule for this day. You can attend Confessions at 8:00
Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe is a church in La Crosse. Our modern, neoclassical church features frescoes and a large mosaic.
