We had an imperial wine tasting and tour. The tour was brief. The wines were nice. The highlights were the ham and cheese for me. They were very tasty.
Historic Rioja winery founded in 1879
CVNE is a historic winery in Haro located in the Barrio de la Estación. Founded in 1879, our family-owned estate produces Rioja wines and welcomes visitors for guided tours through our grounds and production spaces. During tours, we share our heritage across historic cellars and our Eiffel warehouse, followed by tastings of our wines, including Imperial Gran Reserva, paired with local ham and cheese.

Great tour and wines! Our tour guide Peru was very knowledgeable and made the visit really pleasant that the wines topped off, especially Imperial Gran Reserva 🤌
A truly historic winery. Our guide Vincent was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. Lovely grounds, followed by some great wine tasting. So buy a bottle or two after! Do not miss this experience if you are in the area. Book an English tour in advance as they thend to be very popular.
We visited the winery last tuesday with a small group of 8 people in total. CVNE is one of the oldest wineries in the "barrio de estación" in Haro. Definitely worth to visit given its wonderful perserved buildings and historic parts. Our guide Valentin did a great job and clearly interesting to get the view of a French person from Bordeaux, passionated about wine, re. this flagship winery in Rioja. Highlight is - without doubt - the impressive Eiffel "warehouse", which over delivered on our expectations. Very nice contrast to the Viña Real winery, we visited last year and which is also highly recommendable.
My family and I really enjoyed our visit to Bodegas CVNE. It was a very interesting experience focused on the indoor winery and the historic cellars rather than the vineyards, which gave us a great look at the traditional side of their winemaking. The tour ended with a nice tasting of one white and two red wines. Afterward, we spent some time at their outside bar where I had the chance to try an excellent wine called CVNE Viña Real La Virgen, which was definitely the highlight for me. It’s a great spot for families and I highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area.
