Wow how did we not know about this Italian - South African spot? Gorgeous setting with the most gorgeous tiny church, stunning hosts and owners with charisma and style - we went artichoke picking and enjoyed their Vermentino alongside deli treats like the Truffle hot sauce which is officially addictive. Cooking the fresh ingredients at home is the ultimate luxury - highly recommended.

Hidden gem!!! Excellent wine and lovely Italian meals and the prices are really good. I love the 3 different olive oils you get to choose from, this is an authentic venue with a wonderful old school charm

We had a wonderful wine tasting and lunch at Ayama. Staff are super friendly, prices are reasonable and the food is exceptional.

We had the most wonderful Valentine’s Day at Ayama. We were treated to a delicious three-course meal and a ravioli-making class, but we received so much more! We also enjoyed a cellar tour, where the winemaker took the time to answer each of our questions, making the experience feel truly special and personal. A special shout-out to Anele, who made sure our glasses were always full and that we were well taken care of throughout the day. I can’t wait to visit again and to celebrate the next Valentine’s Day there. Perhaps next time we can try making tortellini? 😁👀 Ps the wines are delicious!
