What a beautiful find. We were warmly greeted by the resident cats and dog as we walked down the path to the wine tasting area. We took a seat on the stoep and Rene, the owner, curated a beautiful wine tasting of a selection of wines, his passion and love shone through. Grown using organic methods the wine tasted so clean and crisp. The Viognier was a special highlight as we don’t see it often. It is definitely well worth a stop if you are in the area. The only downside is that we were travelling on so could not fill the car with wine which means we will just have to go back 🙃

What a little hidden gem. Birgit and Rene made us feel very welcome. The rooms are very well furnished and super clean with everything one could wish for. Excellent wines and super wine tasting experience. Very good location to even explore Riebeek kasteel. Highly recommended

We had the most peaceful, relaxing weekend at Jacaranda.... The hosts, Birgit and Rene made us feel so welcomed but also respected our privacy....As for the wine. Their Down to Earth is probably one of the best wines I have ever tasted. Thank you for a lovely experience.

Jacaranda is a little paradise located just outside of Wellington. We had the absolute pleasure of staying here for a few days. During that time both Birgit and Rene went out of their way to make everything perfect. We were able to spend an afternoon tasting their wonderful wines and hearing from Birgit and Rene how they were made and the stories behind them. In the evenings we watched the sun set over the distant mountains with a Braii and some more of the wonderful Jacaranda wine to wash it all down. The place is an absolute animal paradise with the friendliest cats and dogs greeting you on arrival and keeping you company in the evenings. We hope to visit again one day.

Cute little wine estate. The staff couple is extremely friendly and ready to help. Around the lodge is a cat paradise, the cats and dogs of the estate appreciate attention and cuddles if you approach them. The guest cottage is really nice, well equipped and clean. It offers several rooms should you be travelling with your family. Parking spots provided. The wine is excellent and the wine tasting with our host was very pleasant and interesting. I warmly recommend this place and would for sure visit again.
