Came here for breakfast, as I was looking for somewhere between Stellenbosch town and the airport. What a beautiful setting in the gardens with the chicken and the friendliest dog, Bella Great breakfast menu. At first glance it seems a little pricy, but once you taste the food, it’s all about quality ingredients. Service was very friendly. It was quiet on a rainy Stellenbosch morning but would love to come back in summer and enjoy the gardens, but the fire was very much appreciated and the coffee was excellent

Set in a beautiful garden with old school charm and non of that modern design stuff...this lovely restaurant delivers both on it's delicious food and atmosphere...we had the entire set menu which was excellently prepared....from starters,main course of fillet steak that melted in your mouth to desert...the desert was not too bad but think it could be better...the service was friendly and helpful...the wines are excellent...bring the kids they will love the outdoor lawn area...

Amazing lunch today at Toevlug restaurant just outside of Stellenbosch. Stunning location. Perfect setting to chill, sip some wine and eat delicious food. Play area included for the kids to run around while the parents indulge in the food.
