The Goatshed Restaurant offers a wonderful atmosphere. The outside view is absolutely beautiful and serves as a perfect backdrop for taking photos. Inside, the setting transitions into a warm, inviting space with a genuinely homelike feel. The service matches this welcoming environment, as the staff members were incredibly friendly throughout our visit. While the ambiance and hospitality were excellent, the culinary experience was mixed. The pulled lamb pizza was quite basic with no standout qualities, and I would not order it again. However, the cheese platter was the absolute star of the show. The chef's dessert selection did no disappointment at all.It was exceptional, and I highly recommend ordering one when you visit.

Lovely vintage vibes. Authentic and flavorful food. Offer a wide variety of homemade goat cheese, some of are award winning products. Recommend: beef & vegetables soup, kiddie scrambled eggs on toast, beetroot & pineapple juice and kiddie French toast (milk-free). An extending farm also is open to public visit. Offer different bundles for cheese tasting and a wide range of homemade products such as jams, spreads, marmalades and more.

A delightful spot for having a meal. The food was great, beautifully presented and all the meals were brought to the table at the same time. The young gentleman who served us was very friendly and checked on us regularly. There was a tiny squirrel who was doing quality control from the branches of the lush green oak trees outside. It was Paarl-in-Summer hot outside, but the draft on the veranda ensured a very pleasant dining experience. The staff inside the shops were also friendly and helpful. The parking underwhelming trees ensured a pleasant trip home. I will certainly pay them a visit when I am in the area again.

What a beautiful setting to enjoy a gorgeous meal! Everyone in our party had a fantastic meal and huge portions! I shared a cheese platter for 2, and it was amazing! The staff were friendly and very attentive. Would highly recommend.

We visited Fairview Cheese and Wine Estate and were thoroughly impressed by the beauty of the estate. From the koi ponds and charming cheese shop to the wonderful The Goatshed Restaurant, the entire experience was an absolute treat. We ordered cappuccinos and decided to share The Chef’s Dessert between the 2.5 of us — and what a delight it was! A delicious selection of cakes, sorbet, and fresh fruit. My personal favourite was definitely the cheesecake. Our waitress was fantastic, and the Sunday Roast looked absolutely divine, so we will definitely be back to try that next time. If you have a sweet tooth and are in the mood for some truly tasty treats, then head over to The Goatshed — you won’t be disappointed!
