La Grapperia Pizza & Bistro at Spice Route Destination, and what an absolute treat! The pizzas are truly exceptional - perfectly thin, crispy bases with generous, flavourful toppings and that authentic wood-fired taste you just can’t beat. Every bite was fresh and delicious. What truly sets it apart is the breathtaking view over the rolling hills and vineyards. Sitting outside, soaking in the scenery while enjoying incredible pizza, creates the perfect Winelands atmosphere. The setting is relaxed, the service is friendly, and the overall vibe makes you want to linger a little longer. Definitely a must-visit if you’re craving proper, authentic pizza. We’ll be back for more!

Absolutely STUNNING views over the wine farms, beautiful mountain backdrops. On a clear day you can see Table Mountain. Great pizza 🍕, beautiful gardens. It's lovely to sit on the terrace under those beautiful old Oak trees & enjoy the stunning views.

We had a great experience at La Grapperia Pizza & Bistro. The setting is relaxed and inviting, with a charming atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. It’s the kind of place that encourages you to take your time and enjoy the experience. We ordered two pizzas — a chicken pizza and a meaty one — and both were excellent. The chicken pizza had a thin, crispy crust with a generous amount of toppings, including tender chicken and a well-balanced sauce that tied everything together perfectly. The meaty pizza was hearty and packed with flavour, with a rich combination of cured meats and melted cheese that hit all the right notes. The pizzas were clearly made with care, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out. To go with our meal, we had two iced coffees, which were refreshing and well-balanced. They weren’t overly sweet, with just the right amount of coffee strength to complement the meal without overpowering it. Overall, it was a fantastic experience — great food, good coffee, and a relaxed atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

e went out for a family day and stopped by this restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was amazing—everything was clean and well-maintained. They even had a unique “beach area” with beach sand and cozy couches, perfect for relaxing. We started with some drinks and enjoyed a calm, laid-back afternoon. Eventually, we ordered food, which was absolutely delicious, with generous portion sizes. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing day paired with great food.
