Spionkop Wines were presented to us from their very modern tasting room with panoramic views of the Elgin Wine Valley. Quintin, their very knowledgeable and enthusiastic wine presenter, gave us a thorough introduction to the farm and their selection of beautiful wines. Would definitely recommend a visit.

I visited Spioenkop Wines with my friend Marguerite yesterday and it’s honestly one of the most special estates I’ve ever been to. The space has so much character — thoughtful architecture, beautiful design, and an atmosphere that feels completely genuine. Quintin, who guided our tasting, was exceptional. His warmth, knowledge and passion for wine completely elevated the experience. Koen and Valerie Roose have created something truly meaningful here. You can feel the love and dedication that’s gone into every detail. They deserve all the recognition for what they’ve built.

An unforgettable experience at Spioenkop Wines! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and breathtaking views. The wine tasting was exceptional, showcasing a superb range of elegant, complex wines that truly reflect the character of the region. A special thank you to Quintin, who was an absolute standout. He was not only knowledgeable and passionate about the wines, but also took the time to share the rich history of the farm with us in such an engaging way. His insight, humour, and gracious hosting made the experience even more memorable. We left with a deeper appreciation for the craft behind each bottle and, of course, a few to take home! Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy top-tier wines in a stunning setting with outstanding service. We'll definitely be back! 🍷👏
