I came only to the restaurant and it’s AMAZING! The food is spectacular! Reaaally! The view is also amazing. Table service is perfect. Really loved it!

Visiting the restaurant. The views are absolutely amazing. Comfortable seating, excellent service and a Menu to satisfy any taste. It is not cheap, specially the wines. But the quality exceeded expectations. Group of 4, we were looked after really well, dishes beautifully presented and goes with the explanations of the food and ingredients. You are just part of the hotel, watching the guests below enjoying the quiet landscape and the swimming pool. This place offers lots of quiet seating areas, a bar, gardens and ponds. Extensive car park. The only trouble we had was Google maps taking us to the back entrance, that you can't go thru, so we managed to return to town and use the grand main entrance. Mid week was quiet for lunch, still, worth reserving your table. You can see the menu on their website. If you never been around the vineyards area, it is hotter than Cape Town. No brease. Dress accordingly. A after the meal you can drive to the little town and see the shops and outdoor souvenir crafts shops. It was a good hour and half to get here. Recommended

Had lunch in Miko. The restaurant was light and spacious, no crammed in tables here. The location and situation oozed elegance. The food and serviced lived up to the setting. I enjoyed pea risotto, Karoo lamb and dark chocolate fondant. All were excellent. We had several glasses of wine, all were excellent, the Cap Classique was particularly enjoyed. We will return when next in franschhoek
