La Rochelle is the MVP of wine tours! From the moment we booked, they were extremely accommodating (because all the other tours kept canceling due to it being a holiday)! Danelle was our tour guide and she is very easy going, extremely knowledgeable about wine but also the landscape of the area, and kept us entertained throughout the tour. Not only that, but was highly flexible with one of our party not feeling the best (me) and even taking us to the local pharmacy! Danelle really makes you feel like more people in this world should be as down to earth and genuinely kind-hearted as her! Will love to come back and book with her and hopefully her dog comes too! :)

If La Rochelle can't make your day, then nobody can. From the moment of the first email with Johan until we got out of the car after our exquisite day trip with Danelle, we can only rave about these people. Customer service is number 1. You can't ask for more or expect more. You WILL NOT get better value ANYWHERE else. Really, this is the only company you should use when doing a wine tour in Franschhoek or Stellenbosch. More personalised than the wine tram.

My husband and I booked a private wine tour on our last full day in Cape Town while on our honeymoon. Aylmer (spelling may not be correct, but pronounced like Elmer), was our guide and he was absolutely incredible. Not only did he tailor our vineyard visits based on our tastes, but he gave us a lot of information about Cape Town, the wine lands, and South Africa. He is extremely knowledgeable and fun. We had a wonderful time letting loose while drinking amazing wines all day. He even went a step further and called us the next day with places to visit on our remaining journey in SA. We would absolutely recommend this tour, specifically with him as the guide, because you will not find better.

Half day wine, chocolate and cheese. Thought we might be on a larger tour group but the tour was just our group (four adults). Information about Stellenbosch as we were being driven around was very educational too. Choice of vineyards was great, with beautiful wine, cheese and chocolate pairings. If you want something a little more personal these guys are perfect. Great fun.
