Absolutely mind-blowing! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the best dining experiences we've ever had. Every single dish was a work of art, with beautiful, creative takes on South African classics and incredible depth of flavour. The Karoo lamb was outstanding, and the Milk Tart Panna Cotta with naartjie and fynbos consommé was pure magic. The wine pairings were spot on. The atmosphere is warm, elegant and relaxed at the same time, and the service was attentive and genuinely friendly without ever feeling stiff. You can feel the passion behind everything they do. If you're in Franschhoek, don't miss it. We'd come back in a heartbeat!

We went here, the Oak restaurant at Grande Provence, for a tasting menu with pairing. Upon arrival we were seated next to the burning fireplace which gave the place a cozy atmosphere. The staff was extremely friendly and forthcoming. We made a promising start with amuses that were full of flavor. The 4 courses after it continued to be full of flavor and packed the right punch. The accompanying wines matched the dishes well, although the pairing was perhaps a bit on the safe side. That being said: at this price point I think you will have a hard time finding a better deal anywhere in Franschhoek. In other words: highly recommend and definitely worth the taxi trip!

What a perfect place to spend Sunday lunch. We had the 7 wine tasting and a braai. The setting is sublime. We walked from Franschhoek centre, through the vineyards and up to the restaurant. Such a special experience. At the restaurant we were served by Desney who was excellent. Would definitely recommend. High end without being ludicrously stuffy.

Magnificent museum winery with many unique crafts. I recommend trying their wine tasting. I went with some friends and we enjoyed the atmosphere, the animals, and the chef's gourmet food.

We spent a lovely afternoon at Grande Provence Restaurant after booking ahead. The scenery was beautiful, and it’s the kind of place where you can easily relax for a few hours. The kids had a great time in the play area, especially enjoying the zip line. The food was delicious, making it a perfect outing for both adults and little ones.
