We visited as part of our wine tram day and really enjoyed the beautiful setting, wine tasting and lunch. The food and drinks were wonderful. My main advice is to visit when you have time to linger rather than trying to fit it into a busy wine tram itinerary. We arrived on the second tram cycle, started lunch when the restaurant opened at noon, and weren’t ready to leave until 2 p.m. It was a lovely meal, but it took up a substantial part of our tram day and limited our other stops. Well worth enjoying at a relaxed pace—just plan your day accordingly.

My favourite restaurant in SA❤️‍🔥 the team at Maison has nailed casual fine dining. The relaxed atmosphere, welcoming team, and UNREAL flavours keeps them tops🥂 hope you guys get to make delicious food always!

This restaurant was absolutely stunning. With the rain pouring down outside it was extremely cosy inside with the fire places lit. The food was all delicious. My only negative comment is the truffle having zero flavour. But every single dish was presented beautifully and the staff were really quick to make the evening not drag on too long, as can sometimes happen with fine dining. The cocktails were also amazing. Would absolutely recommend the tapas for 2!

Had a lovely lunch here a few weeks ago. The smoke came through in the afternoon from the fires but it was still nice. The food was delicious as was the win - we purchased two bottles of the Chenin Blanc. The Brahma chickens on the property were the highlight - absolutely coolest chickens ever!

We had a great date dinner night. The place is so elegant and cosy, with warm wood design and furniture. Complements to the chef for their menu creativity - the tasting menu was elegant, fresh and well paired with Maison Estate wines. We’ll be back!
