About

Bikes 'n Wines Franschhoek is a bicycle tour operator in Franschhoek leading guided rides through local vineyards. Based next to the Farm Stay Homestead at Rickety Bridge on Main Road, we run excursions for diverse fitness levels across the winelands. Our guided outings include wine tastings, snacks, and your choice of standard bicycles or e-bikes. Routes wind along vineyard paths and historic farmland, led by local guides who navigate the trails and share the area's heritage. We operate small-group itineraries including luxury winelands e-bike packages that feature a plattered lunch alongside cellar stops. Custom and half-day options accommodate both casual cyclists and experienced riders.

We had a wonderful ride. Despite the rainy weather, Walter took us around and guided us the way between the rainy moments. His smile and stories kept us going. Thank you for the nice experience

An absolutely fantastic day that I would recommend to anyone. Great way to see the largely untrodden gems, bikes were great and wine even better. Lee and Roneldo were the best guides. Loved it!
