Long been a favourite when it comes to their wine. Now, they have a smash burger, all from their own farm raised beef (Black Angus no less). I mean, can't think of anything better than sipping on good wine with a meaty Smashburger. 10/10. Lean smash burger party, mosterd pickles, homemade chips. Also, you may spot some game on your drive into the farm and definitely some beautiful wildflowers

As a burger snob I have very high standards: this burger passed the test with flying colours and was seriously good! Two juicy smashed patties, delicious home made pickle and soft buttery brioche bun, super crispy fries. No notes - this plate of food understood the assignment! Grootte Post will see me again soon.

Lovely little hidden gem! A 10km dirt road from the highway leads to a quaint wine tasting room. Tucked away from the city hustle. The wines are great and can be paired with a charcuterie platter or newly added angus smash burger. The natural beauty of the farm creates a perfect spot to wine,relax and share good vibes.🥂🌾🧀

Our game drive at Groote Post was an unforgettable experience. Hannes guided us with expertise and warmth, making the day feel personal and immersive. With just the two of us on the drive, we felt truly spoiled by the variety of animals we encountered. The highlight was stopping at the giraffes, where we enjoyed coffee and a cheese board. A moment that perfectly captured the magic of the day. ❤️ The weather was spectacular, adding to the sense of wonder, and every detail contributed to making it a very special outing. Bianca was also fantastic in handling the booking; her quick email replies and clear communication were much appreciated and set the tone for a seamless experience from start to finish.

Wine tasting at one of my bucket list destinations. The service was superb and the wine even more so. I loved every curation of each beautifully crafted wine - you can taste the care in every glass. The Salt range is an absolute favourite. I love everything about these blends. And the Riesling? A total gem. It was absolutely worth driving 11km on a gravel road to reach this remote destination. Here, it’s clear - it’s all about the wine, not the flash.
