Jonkershuis in Groot Constantia is a must visit whether you are from Cape Town or visiting. The scenery and nature is completely transcendent and amazing. You will find yourself being mesmerized surrounded by such natural beauty. It boasts some of the best views in the city. The restaurant is magnificent. Lots of outside seating - perfect for those sunny days - and there is plenty of inside seating too. The food is amazing! We had four very different dishes and all of them were fresh and satisfying. The menu is also quite extensive and there is a menu for the kiddies. The place is dog friendly and welcomes all dogs on a leash both inside and outside. Its also the perfect setting for a walk with a long path just outside the restaurant. I will be back! What a great experience!

Had an exceptional experience at Jonkershuis! I first came here for a company meet up for brunch, then lunch with my family. Both times, the food was phenomenal, the staff was attentive and the atmosphere and scenery positively stunning. I even took the rest of my chicken liver parfait home to enjoy as a midnight snack. It was just as delicious as back at the restaurant! I’ll be back for sure :-DDD

Stellar setting and atmosphere with fast service. The meals were tasty and generous. Coq au vin was very tasty. Hard to beat with a nice hlass of local wine and view. Very recommended.

100/10 the most amazing food and serbice. After many bad meals in Cape Town we tried this place and specifically went for the curries. Wow the Malay style lamb and chicken curry with the sambals were excellent. We had tried a few and this one was the best. The service was also excellent and the wine. Also what a bonus treat in such a cute historic building. Highly recommend.

Super restaurant located on the Constantia estate! Very friendly staff, fantastic wine 🍷 straight from the wine estate. Great local cuisine. Multiple seating options - indoors, outdoors and covered glass roof courtyard. A must visit after you have had the chance to sample some amazing wines in the factory tour.
