I love Ember & Oak. 2026 update - Father’s Day - we ordered 9 different tapas and they were all wonderful. It’s excellent when you’re done with number 8 and the smell of number 9 is still as enticing. They make eclectic varied and expertly executed tapas. As a party of three we were all very happy with the sharing plates and none of us went home hungry. 2025: I adore food and pregnancy has been rather a disruption in that regard. The chef has gone above and beyond to accommodate me for two family birthdays with different allergies and aversions. No feeling of missing out and dishes all with incredible texture and flavour.

Fantastic tapas and a great dining experience. The plates may be small, but they are packed with incredible flavour and thoughtfully paired ingredients. Every dish felt well-crafted and unique. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. A wonderful spot in Constantia for sharing great food and good company. We’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely delicious selection of sharing small plates. The cocktails were excellent as well. We sat on the outside patio area, there were multiple mushroom heaters and the temperature was perfect. Highly recommend for a cosy winter meal out in a beautiful setting!

Refreshing unique selection of small plates. Beautifully presented, super tasty in a stunning setting. The best cauliflower dish I've ever tasted! Estate not dog friendly which I could not find online, but called in advance.

What an amazing exceptional experience! What took it next level was not only the food which was 15/10 ( highly recommend the tuna crudo and mushroom arancini- husbeau loved the pork ribs!) but the service- cocktail tastings were offered before ordering and also wine tasting so could order to taste, so appreciated! A level up for sure and can’t wait to come back. Owner also offered a complimentary Fizz Pop tasting on arriving a kind and welcoming gesture! From the minute we walked in we knew this would be a good night. Feels like a restaurant run with passion and heart and all the good old fashioned yet contemporary makings for a good restaurant here to stay. Book now 💃
