If you looking for an affordable world class fine dining experience. You can't go wrong with The Happy Uncles.
An excellent experience. Great food, great vibe. Service was fabulous. If you are in search of halaal fine dining, Happy Uncle's is the place to go. We celebrated our birthday and they customised our plates for us as a surprise. Absolutely fantastic day.
One of the few (if not only) fully halal fine dining restaurants in South Africa and what an experience it was! We had the 7-course option, and everything was amazing. Each bite takes your tastebuds on a rollercoaster. I never imagined food can have so much depth and dimension, we really enjoyed the full experience. Service is excellent as well, with a cosy venue, all adding to overall experience. It may seem a bit pricey at first glance, but it is most certainly worth it! PS: If you are going, make sure you have at least 3-4hours free, to give you enough time to really take in the experience.
I was thoroughly impressed with my meal at the Happy Uncles! The attention to detail, superb customer service, quality of ingredients, and the thoughtfulness of the courses all created a really wonderful experience. A must try if you are visiting Cape Town and want to experience a relatively affordable fine dining meal inspired by local flavors and culture.
We had an amazing experience here. We opted for the seven course with tea pairing. Every item they brought was a mind blowing collage of flavor and visual artistry. Our servers explained each dish and our host matched a small pour of tea to compliment the item. We especially liked the corn tart, the "chocolate" eclair and the fish course. The beef had amazing flavor and was melt in your mouth tender. A must do if you are in CC ape Town.
