We attended the Vivaldi Stry concert in the tasting room. The event was very well orginised and the concert was done in a very professional manner. We are looking forward to more music and wine pairing events at this excellent venue.
Helderberg mountain winery and tasting room
Lourensford Wine Estate is a historic winery in Somerset West, Cape Town, set across 4,000 hectares along the Helderberg Mountains. We cultivate vineyards, fruit orchards, fynbos, and forest along the Lourens River. Our grounds host cellar tastings featuring our estate wines, Cap Classique, and honey mead. Visitors can also explore our gardens, on-site market, restaurants, art displays, and seasonal live events.

Fantastic way to spend an afternoon! Fun market, great wine, and if you are lucky enough to have a tasting with Anelda, you will learn about their wine while relaxing in the shade in a beautiful garden setting.
Lourensford is one of those places where time simply disappears. The venue is spectacular -the kind where you can lose hours without even trying (and yes, we did), starting with a wander among the dahlias at Adenes Flowers. A special moment for honey mead - one of the world’s oldest fermented drinks, once known as the nectar of the gods. Made from honey, water, and time, mead carries stories of celebration, ritual, and togetherness. There’s something quietly magical about sipping a drink that has been shared for centuries. And then… the MCC. Crisp, elegant, and beautifully made — the kind of bubbles that demand a pause, a smile, and a proper toast. Final toast: To ancient traditions, exquisite bubbles, and places so beautiful you forget to watch the clock.
A whole days entertainment... lots to do... lots to see... once off R20 parking... Market / food... wine tasting... ice cream and chocolates... Persian rugs... Art... Games... Café... Restaurants... lots lots more... oh... Open Air Cinema... Recommended

Must say Lourensford is a beautiful wine farm ,just from beginning to end . They have a very unique setup ,amazing ,have not enough words to describe how beautiful it is. Art rooms ,bar with classic cars ,if you’re a big fan of classic cars ,make your way there NOW .They have a live band during the Sunday market ,a lot of small shops that sell very beautiful and unique pieces ,and a loooot of food options .
