Tunnel wine tastings on our Constantia farm
What a delightful little wine estate, interesting history and delicious wine, right opposite the Alphen Hotel and alongside the M3 which is quite noisy but after a few sips you can sort of drown it out. Weever was super friendly and welcoming. We left very fulfilled.
We had the pleasure of spending two hours with Weaver during an exceptionally informative and really fun wine tasting! Delicious Sauvignon Blancs and Don's Reserve is a true masterpiece. As we were wrapping up, the wine maker, Roger, popped in and was warm and friendly, welcoming and so knowledgeable... What an incredible afternoon! Highyly recommended!
No longer a 'hidden gem' but a fabulous relatively new offering on the Constantia Wine Route. A very special place with their tasting room under the highway. A talented and friendly winemaker, great people and delicious Sauvignon Blanc. Be sure to visit this working wine farm if you can but do check opening times.
Such a beautifully unique wine farm. Absolutely love the wine. The tasting tunnel is wonderfully unusual. It's a definite must to go here.
