Tasting room pouring Cape vintage ports and potstill spirits
A lovely spot to stop in at if in Calitzdorp, or, more likely, just passing through. Their selection of wines and or course port, is quite broad and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Pricing is very reasonable and they do offer some additional specials all for your drinking pleasure.
Visited The Fledge & Co, the brand of one of the Nel daughters and her husband. REALLY tasted some of the most exquisite wines I've had this year: clean and bright (excellent winemaking), and often very different (innovative winemaking). Can't recommend their wines highly enough. Make sure to make an appointment for a tasting.
An outstanding winery with a delightful, knowledgeable team and some really lovely products. Treat yourself to a sharing platter of cheeses, charcuterie and relishes to accompany your tasting or enjoy with a bottle of their delicious Ring of Rocks. Definitely our best experience yet on the wine route. A really pleasant, air-conditioned tasting room too. Thank you so much!
I visited the Winery after reading some reviews here but oh man I was surprised with the experience. Wine tasting allowed me to taste different wines and I really liked the port wines!! I bought some and brought them back home and I am very satisfied.
