Super professional shop for all the Carpineto products (also: Montalcino and Montepulciano). You cannot try the wines locally so you better know what to go for.
Great tour of a classic vineyard in the eastern section of the DOC. A wonderful guide (English) who was knowledgeable without being over-bearing. When we visited, there was no charge for the tour and tasting...but reservations are required and walk-ups were not accommodated during our visit.
We came but didn't know we had to book a tour in advance so we just ended up tasting the wine. Good wine.
