We visited Tornatore Winery as part of an Etna wine tour, and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily. The guided tour was excellent, and it was fascinating to learn about the winery’s history, which dates back to the 1860s. The beautifully restored historic buildings added so much character to the experience. The wines were absolutely outstanding—we enjoyed them so much that we tracked them down after returning home to Canada and bought a few bottles to relive the experience. The olive oil was just as memorable and was quite possibly the best I’ve ever tasted. If you’re visiting the Mount Etna region, Tornatore Winery is a must-visit. Great wines, rich history, exceptional olive oil, and warm hospitality made for an unforgettable experience.
