Historic Chianti Classico winery and estate
We had a lovely experience at Felisina. We did a tour, tasting and light lunch. I’m gluten free and did not mention upon booking and they were still able to accommodate me which I truly appreciated. The tour was quick but gorgeous and the wine was amazing, we bought some bottles to take home with us.
We had an amazing lunch there with fresh, seasonal dishes perfectly paired with their wines. A relaxed, elegant moment of pure delight.
Excellent winery; the cellar is a beautiful building. The host was excellent, very friendly and informative. The wines in the tasting were varied and absolutely delicious. Probably the nicest tasting we did while in Tuscany. Well with a visit if in the area. We did email to secure our tour and tasing but we also so people arrive for a tasting spontaneously.
Beautiful property, buildings, and vineyards! There is a large range of wines, sure to please any palate. The olive oils are just as good, with monocultivar and plurivarietal options. Definitely get a tour of the cellar before you go, absolutely gorgeous!
I had the delight of visiting this winery while I was in Tuscany. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and so is the building where you have the tasting. They have a lovely patio you can side outside on. Everywhere you look, you feel like you're in Under the Tuscan Sun. Their olive oil is to die for. They gave me a sample of the Leccino with rustic bread. It is the best olive oil I have ever tasted. I ended up purchasing a bottle, stuffing it in my suitcase and it survived the trip home! If you are in the area, definitely check this place out.
