What a great visit to Disznókő Vineyards and Winery to experience their wine tour and tasting. Fannie, our guide, shared fascinating insights into the history of the estate, the unique terroir of Tokaj, and the meticulous process behind producing its world-famous sweet wines. The highlight, of course, was the tasting. My standout favorite was the 2012 Eszencia - often called “liquid gold”. Made from the free-run juice of hand-selected botrytized grapes, Eszencia is one of the rarest and most extraordinary wines in the world, with remarkable sweetness balanced by vibrant acidity. Rich, complex, and incredibly long-lasting, it is a true expression of Tokaj’s centuries-old winemaking tradition.

Perfect for a quiet off season walk through Hungary vineyards especially to understand what makes the wine unique, I was here a few weeks back and loved the whole experience
A calm walk on the wineyard, ended with tasting some excellent wines in a cellar. The view is breathtaking, and the outlook terray can be visited without restrictions. The staff speaks in english, the guidance is pretty interesting and detailed. Questions are appreciated by them. :) Don't get scared by the lizards, there are plenty of them.
