Our visit to Château Lagrange was an absolute highlight. If you love fine wine, this is a must-stop in Saint-Julien. The tasting was incredible, and the wines are truly exceptional. Although the estate is Japanese-owned, everything is beautifully crafted in true French tradition. You can really taste that delicate, refined touch that perfectly matches the classic, elegant style of Saint-Julien. A huge thank you to Lisa, who was incredibly sweet, welcoming, and highly knowledgeable. She guided us with great preparation and made our experience very special. An unforgettable visit for any wine lover. Highly recommended!

Beautiful property meticulously kept Jeanne was our young guide who did a great job and was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed her company. The wine was reasonable, but not the best we’ve had. Overall a nice experience and the beautiful grounds made it worth the visit. I recommend it as a good option.

Chateau Lagrange was an absolutely amazing experience! This tour went well above and beyond my expectations. My host, Jeanne was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the chateau. We started with a tour of the beautiful grounds and vineyards, moved to the state of the art fermentation tanks, then to the barrel room. We tasted three different wines directly from the barrel in my experience and it was so unique to taste them young and right from the barrel. We proceeded to a gorgeous tasting room and had their Bordeaux Blanc, a vintage of their second growth, and an older vintage of their iconic Chateau Lagrange. I highly recommend this experience at Chateau Lagrange!

was not very impressed with the tour and the wines. the taste of the white wine was really amazing and surprising though. otherwise the 1st label (2005 vintage) were a little lacklustre as what i would have expected of a good st julien. personal taste probably.

The best wine I have tasted so far in my life. Also the best winery experience I have ever had. We did the Japanese fusion cooking class hosted by Mathilde and Taichi and it was truly a once in a lifetime experience. Both were so kind and personable and the food was tres tres bien! If you are looking for the best winery experience with the best wine in Bordeaux this is where you need to go. Thank you so much to Mathilde and Taichi for making this the experience of a lifetime!!
