Château Grand-Puy Ducasse is a winery in Pauillac situated along Quai Antoine Ferchaud in the town center. We are closed Sundays.
Our winery welcomes visitors for guided tours that explore our renovated estate and contemporary chai. Guests walk through the wine-making facilities to see how our grapes are processed and vats are utilized.
Each tour concludes with a guided tasting highlighting the estate's two principal wines. Free parking is available directly opposite our property on the quay.
We visited the winery for a tour. We booked online which was relatively easy and paid €20 per person for a personal guided tour. Situated in the centre of Poulliac and free parking directly opposite we found it .a great location. Our guide spoke extremely good English and was warm and welcoming. We got to see the areas where the grapes are processed and the bats and the processes for making the wine explained in detail, it was fascinating. At the end we tried the 2 main wines they produce and the tasting was guided. We thoroughly enjoyed the visit.

Came here on a semi private group tour. Our tour guide, I forget her name, but was an older woman, was very charming and gave us a great tour experience with lots of good information. The wine itself was also very good. Would highly recommend!

Our recent overnight stay at Château Grand-Puy Ducasse with clients was, without exaggeration, one of the most exceptional experiences we've had anywhere in the world. From the moment we arrived until our reluctant departure, every single aspect of our visit exuded high quality and an extreme attention to detail that truly set this château apart.
The renovations of the château are nothing short of breathtaking. Every corner, every fixture, and every design choice reflects a meticulous dedication to preserving its historic charm while integrating modern luxury seamlessly. It's clear that no expense was spared, and the result is a stunning environment that impresses at every turn.
Beyond the magnificent setting, our stay was elevated by two outstanding discoveries. Firstly, we had the immense pleasure of tasting what we can confidently say is one of the very best wines of Bordeaux. The Château Grand-Puy Ducasse wine was a revelation, a testament to the passion and expertise poured into its creation.
Secondly, the quality of the food prepared by Chef Jimmy was simply superb. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, fresh, innovative, and perfectly executed, showcasing the finest local ingredients. Dining at the château was a highlight in itself.
However, what truly made this experience unparalleled was the friendliness and warmth of our hostess and her remarkable team, led by Anne, Marine, and Salomé. Their genuine hospitality, proactive service, and unwavering dedication to ensuring our comfort and satisfaction were beyond anything we've encountered. They anticipated our needs, shared their knowledge with enthusiasm, and made us feel genuinely welcome and valued. Their collective efforts transformed a luxurious stay into a truly personal and memorable one.
Château Grand-Puy Ducasse is more than just a place to stay; it's an immersive experience in world-class hospitality, exquisite taste, and genuine warmth. We cannot recommend it highly enough for anyone seeking an unparalleled retreat in Bordeaux.

Our visit to Château Grand-Puy Ducasse was a fascinating and thoroughly enjoyable experience, offering a fresh perspective on Bordeaux winemaking. Though located in town and not surrounded by sprawling vineyards, the estate more than made up for it with its rich history and beautifully preserved château, which we had the pleasure of exploring. The highlight was undoubtedly the innovative design of the chai—an impressive blend of modern engineering and aesthetic elegance that showcased the estate’s forward-thinking spirit. The wines were refined and expressive, and the entire visit felt thoughtfully curated and genuinely engaging.

My wife and I had the privilege of touring this
Château recently, and were blown away by the experience. Our friends there greeted us warmly, and ushered us through the recently and beautifully renovated spaces, including the main house and cellars. We got to meet their team of expert winemakers, learn the history of the Château, and sample some of their amazing vintages. Château Grand-Puy Ducasse is one of our favourites, and getting a tour of their facilities made our trip to Bordeaux extra special. The Château is located conveniently within the heart of Pauillac, and they have a beautiful terrace that overlooks the river and main road below -- the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine. At the end of the tour, they also customized one of their wine labels and printed our names on our favourite vintage -- which is the year my wife and I met. A big THANK YOU to their staff and management, we can't wait to see you all again!
